Local Church     

Typically, I do not charge a specific fee for speaking in local churches. For almost fifty years I have been accepting invitations to speak in the local church, asking only for a love offering. I do remind churches that ask me to travel more than one hundred miles to consider the cost of travel and lodging in their "offering."

Paid Events or Conferences

When invited to speak at a conference where the participants are charged a fee to attend, it is appropriate to negotiate with conference sponsors for travel expenses to and from the conference, lodging, and speaking fee.
